On my ge refrigerator there is a four conductor plug four wires going into the evaporator fan motor I think there is a thermistor or something in the evaporator fan motor housing not sure but I think so

I am lucky I used to repair oscilloscopes and other test equipment I can do component level troubleshooting on the control boards and everything but sometimes I don't bother if the whole board is very cheap

Besides hearing the evaporator fan or being able to see it spin you can always use the finger test pretty low power fan just kidding well sort of

I have a GE refrigerator exactly like this one I was careful and I used a pressure washer to clean the condenser I was very careful and it made my condenser look like new I did it 6 months ago the refrigerator works fine

A friend was told by the Frigidaire repair guy her ice maker couldn't be fixed. Seems like an excuse because this is a heavy multiple step for a normal person but repair guy should be capable like you. Ben. Then another friend had deeper complex issues were it ended damaging her floors. Then again I'm not sure if she ever paid attention to notice any real issues till everything really shut down. No clue what I did but my washer wouldn't rinse or spin before I put it in diagnostic mode then all of a sudden it started draining and I was thanking God. Started thanking Him even more when it started spinning shortly after. Thank you for the in depth tutorial. God bless

My Frigidaire gas stove is dangerous. My grandchildren have walked by and just brushed up against the knobs in the front of it and the gas was turned on, but it wasn’t turned out enough where the burner would light so all the gas would start leaking out and a couple times. My house was so filled with gas. I was terrified that it was gonna explode or happen again. now before I go to bed every night, I’m checking it sometimes twice if someone goes out into my kitchen. You would think that they would have the controls like they used to be years ago where you have to push the knob in and then turn the gas on and then turn it all the way to the lighter, but it doesn’t work that way anymore..

My issue with this one is, it will do the full cycle and clean clothes but then when it sits on 1 minute it will restart again to 14 minutes. Also when it is just about to end the final spin I get loud almost scratching noise for a couple seconds then takes forever to stop spinning (motor brake) I was told by someone but idk. Anyone have any of these issues?

How do you fix the water level, regardless of the water level mines jump to extra high on normal wash?

I just tried this and it doesn’t stop the tub from swaying side to side. I’ve replaced all 4 rods and even changed the hub. I’ve even taken it all off and did it all again thinking I didn’t put the rods in correctly. I’m out of ideas. Anyone?

Let’s first determine what kind of door switch it is plunger style on older models and a magnetic proximity sensor on newer models my turned out to be a missing magnet on the top of door for the proximity switch it was located on the top exterior of the door I personally would check this first if your magnet is missing get a thin powerful magnet to replace the factory supplied ones try both sides of the magnet hope it helps it fixed my new lg unit

I'd rather separate washer dryer, you can stagger loads to dry one while another washes. Definetly nice for a small living space though

Why does food occasionally freeze in my new side by side Whirlpool refrigerator? I can't seem to adjust the setting right. Haven't changed anything for months. All of a sudden this morning, frozen carrots on upper shelf. Not crowded in fridge.

Great video. I'd just like to see more figures comparing times and cost to a regular dryer. I estimated an 8,000 kWH ROI compared to a basic Maytag 7.0, and that is with my solar rate of .09/kWH. Unfortunately, I have a 28.25 depth limit in my pantry to deal with too. Not to mention that I can service the Maytag myself, the last one lasted 15 years needing one heating element replacement and two minor parts.

Impossible to get their short water filters and they're atupid expensive to replace. My guys mo longer carry Samsung. A lot of problems with all korean made appliances. Too bad because they're thoughtfully designed.

I have the same washer. It won't do this at all. Mine was made in 2020 I think. But it won't go into the error codes at all.

Good point on the 1 year inverter warranty. The new LG heat pump tower unit has a 10 year warranty on the dryer inverter and compressor. Maybe longer warranty on the combo unit to come??

The power requirements are the big win. I have 100A service, and solar, and so avoiding excessive electrical load is such a huge win. I have a gas dryer now and I don't have a 30A outlet for it. This would be perfect.

We bought a new GE french door from home depot, Model # GFE26JYMFS, back in Feb 2021, replacing a Samsung that developed a Freon leak and had other issues. just over 3 years later, its also developed a Freon leak. Was told its too expensive to fix to find a tiny leak and the GE tech filled it with Freon and said see how long it lasts, if it doesn't last long, buy a new fridge. SO bad luck with Samsung, now GE, not sure who i should buy from now, Whirlpool? I like the LG's but hesitant because of the compressor issues, though i have heard those are resolved.
